What consumers consider cool often involves code. From Facebook apps to virtual product tours, today’s marketing is fueled by technology. Previous marketing strategies like online banner ads, television commercials, billboards and radio ads are losing their influence over consumers. This luncheon will feature two speakers discussing the technologies and experiences that make your marketing cool.

In his presentation, Mike Dang, a skilled Facebook app developer, will explore the Facebook development cycle, including common misunderstandings and mistakes made by management. Beyond that, Mike will discuss how to measure the ROI of your apps and integrating them with your Like page. Mike will showcase some examples and case studies of Facebook apps, as well as future opportunities on Facebook for marketers in the room.

In his presentation, Trevor Farella, UI Designer at Aniden Interactive, will discuss how user interaction can create memorable and satisfying experiences with consumers, intensifying their relationship with a product or brand. Multi-touch walls, online product demos, augmented reality and intuitive user interface design are amongst the endless possibilities for engaging consumers, all of which Trevor Farella will explore.

THREE KEY TAKE-AWAYS

  • What are some creative ways to incorporate cutting edge technologies into my marketing efforts?
  • What’s next with Facebook apps and how can my organization start preparing?
  • How can I engagingly tell my company’s story visually?
